Gretchen Carlson, a Fox News host, said Wednesday she was fired by the conservative-leaning cable news network and has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against its chairman and CEO, Roger Ailes.Oh, this is going to be good. Especially since this isn't the first time Ailes has been accused of sexually harassing women.
In a statement released through a public relations firm, Carlson, best known for co-hosting “Fox & Friends” until 2013, said she “refused to sleep” with Ailes and “reported disparaging treatment in the newsroom.”

I guess we'll received "fair and balanced" coverage as the days go by, eh ??
I sort of take issue with her calling it a "newsroom"...

I made a comment to my wife earlier this week concerning how I had not seen GC on FOX since she had made her comment about how maybe it was time to restrict AR pattern rifles, obviously without understanding things like due process, prior restraint, or that Orlando was not about guns, but rather an Islamic attack on a gay bar wherein the fire exits seem to have been unduly secured, preventing rapid egress. Then today I hear about the suit on a "mainstream" station, though it was reported that FOX had declined to renew a contract with her. The fact of the suit and allegations of harassment followed so quickly after that the whole thing more than sort of has the look of retaliation on her part. Just an observation and opinion
Why is she upset? Oh, that's right, it's different when it happens to her.
