A Kind Note to Political Protestors

Look, if you want to peacefully protest, fine. You have a right to do that.

Violent protests, from tossing eggs to physical assaults, persuades nobody of anything other than you're a pack of assholes.

Some guy comes along and start doing the same to you, I can understand where you'd feel the need to respond in kind. But the optics look better if you don't.

If you act like an asshole, people will think you're an asshole. And nobody feels sympathy towards assholes. The anarchists who shut down Seattle in 1999, protesting against the World Trade Organization accomplished nothing.

As will you.

"course, the media doesn't bother to report until the Right fights back.....

THey seem to ignore the Lefts attacks against the right unless it becomes so much that they cannot fail to report...

Unbiased reporting and all that.....

The "media" is hardly monolithic and hasn't been for about thirty years.

But go ahead, keep peddling that.

Yeah, look at the bias in reporting and tell me that.

Have you heard anything on the MSM about Katie Couric's latest lies about gun owners?

On ANY network?

Didn't think so.

They are more monolithic than you admit.

The only thing remotely resembling TV news that I watch is the Weather Channel in the morning. And as soon as I've caught "Your Local on the 8s", I shut it off.

SO how, then, can you state that the media isn't monolithic if you don't watch it? How can you even make that sort of statement with no knowledge?

Look, we are (generally) on opposite sides of the political spectrum, you and I.

But if you pay any attention at all, the mainstream print media and the mainstream television media ARE biased. They give you their shaped version of the news.

No longer do they give complete unbiased news. Really, they haven't since Nixon or before.

If they did, then people would know all about Hillary But they don't. But we know all about Trump don't we?
