Sharing Is Caring — But Often A Pain

A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

Oh, good. My local Barneys have an MRAP.
Heh, more than a little confused why Metro needs about a hundred "BLADE SET,COMPRESSOR,AIRCRAFT GAS TURBINE ENGINE".
Honestly, not entirely sure what that's for. Copticopters?
I hope this isn't a stupid question, but why are the 5.56s listed as $499.00 and the 7.62s only $138.00? And if they really are $138.00 where can I get one?

ShortWoman, the Metro cops probably already have a helicopter. The boyos at Fort Fumble gave them repair parts.
Doug, that's what the beancounters think they're worth. The cops paid nothing, they got them for free.
I guess I'm proud of the Alexandria (VA) PD. They seem to have exercised restraint in that their total take appears to be 30 M-16's and a truck. Not clear on why they thought they needed M-16's at all, but that's a pretty light inventory compared with some other places.

Ghillie suits? Ghillie suits! That's as useful as the camo the cops in Ferguson are wearing. Barney Fife play acting soldier....gawd!
What I was really wondering is what specific rifles they were talking about.
