Nikki Haley called him out on it, not that it matters any:
"Either he sides with Putin and thinks it's cool that Putin killed one of his political opponents, or he just doesn't think it's that big of a deal. Either one of those is concerning. Either one of those is a problem."
Russia is the country most likely to start a global thermonuclear war. The TOFF and his fellow travelers in the pro-Putin Caucus are trying to do whatever they can to dismantle NATO in order to help Russia conquer its neighbors.
I have said this many times and I will continue to say it: The Republicans have not changed one bit since they were the pro-Hitler party. There were in Hitler's pocket until Hitler declared war on America a few days after the Pearl Harbor attack and they will be the pro-Putin party until the nukes start flying.

I agree with this post, except for the part about Russia's starting a nuclear war.
If Ukraine had not given up its nukes, I don't think the current Russian aggression against Ukraine would have happened.
Putin is evil, but not crazy--and even if he be crazy, the people whose co-operation he needs in order to launch nukes aren't going to be willing to see their families killed, and their country destroyed in the inevitable counter-attack. They'll just fill Putin so full of lead that his grave will be declared a toxic waste site, and that will be the end of that.
I don’t agree, because miscalculations happen, when heavy ordinance starts, starts flying back-and-forth. We came really close to a nuclear war a few times, and only one person, or sheer luck, kept it from happening.
We shouldn’t have to count on either, and, in my estimation, the best way to ensure that we don’t run the risk of a nuclear war starting is to make sure that the Russians are deterred. The best way for that to happen is grind them into powder in Ukraine.
yeah, iirc, the nukes that were IN ukraine were CONTROLLED by moscow. they were targeted at key western cities and military targets. they didn't belong to kyiv.
