A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

Helluva crosswind there!
Crosswinds can be bad for takeoffs too.
Close to the best memory of my USAF WX career was spotting an outflow boundary from a nearby CB moments before it hit at PSAB. Station chief was briefing me for shift change up on a lookout platform and said "as you can see, we have a 15kt crosswind advisory out."
I pointed at the CB racing parallel to the runway and said, "Have we got a forty-knot crosswind advisory?"
Chief looked where I was pointing and RAN down the ladder, got on the horn to tower and stopped runway ops. Maybe 10 seconds later the outflow hit - 45 kts. Later he got thanks from a KC135 crew that had been revving for takeoff.
