There was a USCG 16E fully restored that flew out of VNY when I was doing some testing out of there. BEAUTIFUL bird, and everybody on the field stopped to watch her taxi out and takeoff! Those 1820s were a sweet sound!
The takeoff has a good example of wingtip vortices.
