Of Course the Russians are Interfering in the Election to Benefit Trump

Is anybody really surprised by that?
Intelligence officials say Russia is interfering with the 2020 election to try to help President Donald Trump get reelected, The New York Times reported Thursday.

The Times said intelligence officials told lawmakers about the interference in a Feb. 13 closed-door briefing to the House Intelligence Committee. It said the disclosure angered Trump, who complained the Democrats would use the information against him. He berated the outgoing director of national intelligence, Joseph Maguire, the next day.
Trump's not denying that his masters are interfering in this election. He's mad because the story got out.

With Trump, all roads lead to Putin.

If you are supporting a Russian stooge because he's good for your pet cause, that determines the price of your patriotism.

"Pierson told NPR that the U.S. doesn’t know exactly what the Russians are planning, but she said it’s not just a Russia problem."

So they are SURE that "The Russians" are surely up to something....'Cause Trump could SURELY not win on his own.

Sounds like they really don't have anything concrete, really, just more innuendo.

The ODNI briefed congress on intelligence that Russia was interfering in the election again, this time also the Democratic primary, and Fergus responded by firing the DNI and his deputy and replacing them with an internet troll and a Nunes staffer.

The statute that created the ODNI specified that candidates for the director job must have extensive intelligence experience and Grenell has none.

The Germans were initially ecstatic that the ridiculous creep was getting another job, but this is the Fergus administration we're talking about here, and apparently Grenell will serve as acting DNI while also remaining the ambassador to Germany, and possibly another job as well.

What did it just get away with, while we were blinded by the flash?

Nod to B: it's not just the Ruskies. They're the ones that got caught.

Yes, it.

No big surprise there. In fact, given our history in meddling in everyone else's election, it would be in others countries interest to try to meddle in ours. It's fine when we do it, but when someone else does, oh noes!

Are we the baddies?

B, Trump got hot and bothered about the report because why? The same guy who had meetings with Vlad where to this day we don’t know what either participant said?

"Trump got hot and bothered about the report because why?"

He said it was because he was afraid the Democrats would use it against him. Doesn't give a rat's ass that the Russians are attacking our elections again, but give the Democrats on the intelligence committee real information that he doesn't like? Time for a purge.

May I remind you that there are Democrats running the house intelligence committee because they won the 2018 election? Overwhelmingly? On a platform of reining the Fergus administration in?

He keeps going on and on about the Dems wanting to "overturn the 2016 election" when in reality he wants to ignore the 2018 election.
