Maybe Trump will lash out, again, at immigrants committing crimes, even though the truth is that immigrants commit fewer crimes than native-born citizens.
Or maybe he'll try again for his travel ban, ignoring the fact that the premise for his ban is all bullshit.
It'll be something, for that's how he rolls: Give them the old razzle-dazzle.
Give 'em the old hocus pocus
Bead and feather 'em
How can they see with sequins in their eyes?
What if your hinges all are rusting?
What if, in fact, you're just disgusting?
Razzle dazzle 'em
And they'll never catch wise!

I thought the administration's travel ban had to be issued to protect the citizens from terrorism from those seven countries. But the ban was stayed, illegally according to Trump. My question would be, if it was so urgent to get the ban in place, why has it taken three weeks and a new ban still has not been implemented? Has the danger to the citizenry passed?

They were gonna release it yesterday, but they didn't want to "step on the good reaction" to the speech in the media.

Exactly my point, Doug. It's MUCH more important to get 'feel good' press, than issue the presidential order that saves us citizens!!!

So it looks like another DHS/interagency document was leaked with a whole different angle on why the travel ban won't work:

(scroll down below the video for the actual document)

So what is the percentage of illegal immigrants who commit crimes vs the percentage of citizens?
The article uses numbers of crimes, but fails to do percentages, which makes me think they are hiding something because of their omission.
Bar graphs are fine (and impressive, to those who don't look at the data), as long as they tell us something. Which these don't.
I'm not saying you are wrong, just that the article doesn't really prove you are right.
