I'm done with the show. I've gotten tired of the smug, smirking Patrick Jane picking up clues that the dumb-ol' detectives can't see while Rigsby and Van Pelt circle each other towards their eventual hook-up. That realization hit on Friday, I hadn't gotten around to watching the tape of Tuesday's show. I just rewound the tape to the beginning and left the show to be recorded over by something else.
Yet "Life on Mars" failed and "the Unusuals" is in ratings trouble. I don't know why the networks bother, they ought to let cable do the edgy shows while they concentrate on what they do best: Churning out meaningless tripe.

I quit this one right after the really stupid "Witch" episode. I tried one more and didn't make it more than half way through....smirking and sulking and glaring, oh my. Oh poooo....
I'll watch with the volume muted, because Simon Baker is HOT.

A promo this AM for the show reminded me that you'd had an issue with it. I think you were kind as regards your description of Simon Baker. The phrase smarmy pos surfaced for me, all by its ownself. I hear he took lessons from Brad Pittiful, but who believes that shit?
