Fox and the gop have sold latino migrants as all being scary af ms-13 members. it's the same thing nazis did with jewish people. repeat: it is the same thing nazis did with jewish people.
the. same. thing.
By sending hundreds of people to an El Salvadoran gulag with no due process, Trump, DHS/ICE and the GOP are engaging in human trafficking.
And if they don't have to obey the law and court orders, why do the rest of us have to?

We don’t consider the legalities of what we are doing against the oaths we took to defend the constitution. We are only following orders. Don’t be angry with us. Our superiors know what they’re doing. 1939 Germans = 2025 Americans

Someone pointed out today that Auschwitz wasn't in Germany.

Auschwitz and other concentration camps weren't in Germany because Hitler didn't want to despoil the Fatherland with his crimes and to keep them hidden from the Germans that were decent human beings. Using San Salvador is from the same playbook.
Consider this. All land invaded and controlled by WWII Germany
such as Poland were considered German lands (lebensraum=
elbow room). The camps were made remote to help hide them
and keep the activities secret.
Same game new names. Ugly activities. None reflecting well on
San Salvador.

Another T**** quid pro quo. From illegal abduction to illegal incarceration.
The activities in the camps were an open secret. New ones were located away from Germany proper because the locals were complaining about the stink of the camps and lines of prisoners forced to march through the locale to work sites begging for food and water. Until the war began they were brutal adjunct prisons. The death camps came later. And as the war turned against Germany, the camp system collapsed, unable to support the inmate populations, they all morphed into death camps. Nicklaus Wachsmann's book 'KL' details that awful descent to the lowest level of Hell.
In particular, Nazis admired the Jim Crow-era laws that discriminated against Black Americans and segregated them from white Americans, and they debated whether to introduce similar segregation in Germany.
Yet they ultimately decided that it wouldn’t go far enough.
“One of the most striking Nazi views was that Jim Crow was a suitable racist program in the United States because American Blacks were already oppressed and poor,” he says. “But then in Germany, by contrast, where the Jews (as the Nazis imagined it) were rich and powerful, it was necessary to take more severe measures.”
Because of this, Nazis were more interested in how the U.S. had designated Native Americans, Filipinos and other groups as non-citizens even though they lived in the U.S. or its territories. These models influenced the citizenship portion of the Nuremberg Laws, which stripped Jewish Germans of their citizenship and classified them as “nationals.”

The timeline started before 1933, with Kristalniacht in 1938 November.
By 1939 the progroms was in full swing with anti jewish laws (both
germany and italy). Dachau was opened in '33. I haven't included the
non jews exterminated like the infirm, gays, and political dissidents.
But by time the war started the camps had been killing people.
The overall program was elimination, extermination, or subjugation
undesirables that didn't fir the german purity model.
It started quietly and with the special police doing the dirty work.
We are living with parallels.

American law and Americans like Henry Ford were an inspiration for the Nazis. We've never faced up to that as a nation.
