Not a single international cargo ship at the Port of Seattle. The port is dead. The last ship from China will dock at a West coast port on the 29th, and the last Chinese ship will dock on the East coast around May 10th. After that, there will be no more shipments arriving from China. We’re screwed.

I think that speaks for itself. The trade embargo is taking hold. Which means that there are a lot of truckers who are going to find themselves idled.

Yeah stuff is drying up. Clothes washer blew up this last week and not fixable due parts and repair expense. Had to spend half a day on the phone locating a new one as deliveries are 4 weeks or more or just no stock. Got lucky and found it close by due recent delivery of one to a local store.
Just wait until we have to pick number tickets or make appointments to get into the local grocery store.
