So now we have 6 Trump associates either convicted or pled guilty to lying to Congress or law officials. Think that’s proof enough to his supporters that this group of folks cannot be trusted? Prob’ly not.
And I find it funny that the Republican argument is that since the Ukraine did not investigate Biden, and the weapons were released anyway, then no crime was committed. So I guess that if one’s spouse gets dressed up, goes out, and tries to hook up with someone else but is unsuccessful, then since nothing happened, you can’t be angry at them. Same moronic argument.

So it's kinda interesting that on the day Fergus live tweeted intimidation about a testifying witness, Roger Stone was convicted of (along with six other felonies) witness intimidation, for which he might do twenty years.

Donas, having worked to make our republic less honest and more corrupt and support authoritarians, in other words subvert the honest and fair elections certainly seems that such a person would be a threat. In case you missed it this is what Roger Stone has done his whole political career. Remember the tattoo on his back is of a guy who interfered in the peace talks with North and South Vietnam. Do you think a lot of young men paid a terrible price for that interference, Roger picked that side, so it sucks to be him.
He'll get 6-8 months as a first offender. He'll enjoy it, make new friends, buff up the guns, get some great material for his book, 'My Struggle Against the Deep State'-Mein Kamph').
He comes out of stir in fabulous Club Fed with a best seller (bulk sales to reich-wing enablers as with trump Jr's tome), big sexy biceps, some sexy new buffed out friends and a new trump back tattoo just below Nixon's skin portrait.
So, win/win for Roger Stone, who comes out a winner despite being a lawless evil troll boasting a lifetime of rat*ucking of our democracy for sweet sweet rightwing grifting dough.
Trump will not pardon Stone, IMO, he hardly knew Stone who worked for him for only a short time as coffee boy.
