A 3-Engine Airplane with 4-Blade Props

As I noted over a year ago, the EAL DC-7 is still grounded in Charlotte. The Carolinas Aviation Museum lists it as a temporary exhibit.

The Historic Flight Foundation, which restored and owns/owned the airplane, no longer acknowledges it as part of their collection.

The airplane has been deregistered.

That is a shame...

At $140k for a rebuild, and upward of $1M for a new engine, I think it's probably done for.
