The Feds are looking into his campaign expenditures and it sure seems that he may have allegedly committed fraud. Santos's campaign allegedly paid his rent and there are a shitload of "expenses" that come in juuust undeeer $200, the point where receips are required to be preserved. His expenditures were way out of line when compared to a guy who won election as a Republican from the next county.
It's looking as though Santos may have the shortest tenure in Congress for a guy who didn't die on the job.

It would seem to be be obvious that he had some big money backing him just so he could oust a Democrat. Since exaggerations and unfulfillable promises have always been used by politicians it would seem he fits the mold. But over the top lying blatantly about yourself is the new standard since TFG set the pace.
And he trashed his apartment.
Because of course he did.
