Hmm. Without doing research, I'll dip into my tiny memory banks and take a guess. The Corsairs were F4Us. Were the first jets were F-9 Panthers? Trying to think of planes in between makes me think of the Bearcat. Never knew the designation for that one.

Looked it up. F-8. I give up. Was it something that landed on the Langley?
