Jake was waiting for dinner. The mat upon which he was lying was one of the feeding stations.
George has appropriated a cardboard box.
I brought the box home in order to make a cheap-ass boresighting rig.
You take the bolt out, look down the bore and line the bore up on something. Then you look through the scope and adjust it so that the scope is on in windage and parallel to the line of sight in elevation. Or, if you want to cheat, shine a laser pointer down through the barrel and look through the scope. The laser's dot should be right under a vertical crosshair and a little below the horizontal one.
It works well enough to ensure that, when you go to the range to dial it in, your first shot will be on the paper.

I will always love Caturdays. Dang, I need to deflea my clan. Not looking forward to it!
CAturday at the son's place came with extra mystery this morning. He has a low table borrowed from me with drawers. The back and bottom are closed, and yet this morning, his kitten was IN the drawer where the cat treats reside. She was pitifully crying because she could not get out. But the bigger question is how she got IN!
