The Republican Party = the Confederate Party?

Folks in the GOP, at least in Virginia, are adopting Civil War symbology.

Next step will probably be the adoption of party uniforms. I have a modest suggestion, of course:

Gray uniforms for daytime wear:



White for night-time and for formal occasions:

OOooh yes, quite appropriate. The Party of Lincoln has decidedly become the Party of the Confederacy, and should wear the appropriate uniforms so we can identify them and respond accordingly.

ah, the Democrats were the party of slavery, the GOP was the bunch of idiots that thought they could hold the nation together by force.

I want new parties, and all the members of the old ones used to clean up that oil spill.....
