Caturday!!!

This is a farm cat. It didn't mind being petted, as long as you scratched its head. It was lying in some tall grass and occaisionally chomping on the greenery.

Here is George enjoying a morning sunbeam.

In less than a week, he will receive his "lion cut" for the Summer, so this is about the last of his long coat until it grows back in the Fall. He is developing a slew of hair mats in his belly, which he adamantly refuses to let me cut out or comb out. The haircut will coincide with his getting his teeth cleaned, so he will not be able to object to the process.

About 20 minutes later, the sunbeam had moved and Gracie was hogging it.

Gracie is a very easy cat to photograph. I have to work to take a bad photo of her.
