There are some good takeaways in that video.
1) If someone is charging you, move in the other direction, even as you shoot. That critter might have been able to stab the deputy with his huge-ass knife if she hadn't backed up.
2) Know how to clear jams and keep shooting.
3) The argument against large-capacity magazines is just fucking retarded. It can take a lot of rounds to stop a single motivated attacker.
The dead critter was a non-mask-wearing idiot who thought that it was worth stabbing an old guy when the old guy asked the soon-to-be dead critter to wear a mask.
On the surface, it looks like a good shoot, even though Trump's going to complain that the cop shot a white guy.

Also reinforces the lesson of don't bring a knife to a gunfight.
I wonder if the officer might get in trouble. After she clears the jam she puts about 6 rounds into the asshole, when he is stopped and bent over.
If anything, she'll get dinged for letting him get too close before lighting his ass up.
Was that 2 or 3 shots before the jam? I wonder how many of those made contact. I also wonder how many of her shots all together were body mass hits?
It surely does look bad for the 9 mill. Of course, it might have taken a .458 African to really do that job.
I've got to practice walking backward shots, I never thought of that.

Word elsewhere is eight or nine hits.
No handgun is going to reliably stop a amped-up attacker. There are cops who have filled up guys with good .45 hollowpoints and who have kept on coming. You have to hit the spine or the brain to drop someone, and those are hard targets to hit, especially on a moving target.
