Yeah, that's going to leave a mark.

Being forced to engage in patriotic displays is a hallmark of fascist and authoritarian states. And this comes from a "president" who knows the words to neither The Star Spangled Banner nor God Bless America. He's a fraud, a super-special snowflake who inherited millions of dollars, is worth about that much, has never had to work for anyone else, and he thinks that the entire world is treating him just so, so unfairly.

Free people need not be forced to be patriotic. Free people have the right to dissent.

But in Trump's mind, "freedom" only applies to those who support him.

Which is not really different from most conservatives, these days.
