Gov. Chris Christie was told of the George Washington Bridge lane closures as they were occurring in 2013, a federal prosecutor told jurors on Monday in U.S. District Court.Doesn't mean, of course, that any of that is true. Opening statements can be a good roadmap of what that side's case is. They can also be bullshit that doesn't hold up in trial.
David Wildstein, who has already pleaded guilty to playing a role in the incident, and Bill Baroni, who is now on trial for his alleged role in the scheme, “bragged” about the traffic gridlock that lane closures were causing when they spoke with the Republican governor at a Sept. 11 memorial in Lower Manhattan, Assistant U.S. Attorney Vikas Khanna said.
We shall see. Be interesting if Baroni pleads out in the middle of trial, without admitting anything.

what's he running for that will impact him or someone he supports if the Dems tie him up in Lawfare?
He might be lobbying to be the next AG. Or the Presidential Fast-Food Courier.
You can remove the Rick Perry bit over --->
He's out of legal jeopardy unless he runs for something besides Ted Cruz's seat.
Interesting that both prosecution and defense assert that The Outlaw Jersey Whale knew what was happening.
Thank you, montag, for cleaning my sinuses when I blew the Coke I had just drunk out my nose. The Outlaw Jersey Whale, genius...is that yours, or to whom do we owe the pleasure.
