An evening when the goons of the KGB Prince County Sheriff's Department broke down the door of the mayor of Berwyn Height, MD and his wife, killed their dogs in front of their eyes and kept them handcuffed until long after it was apparent that the goons had fucked up.
You just know, don't you, that if he hadn't been the mayor, the
Gestapo SWAT goons would have arrested them on trumped-up charges in order to justify the sheer and utter incompetence, inhumanity and brutality of the Sheriff's Department.
This is what we have come to in this country: Paramilitary goon squads in police uniforms, breaking down people's doors and, often, killing them for no goddamn good reason. The NYPD killed a grandmother in Harlem several years ago and, last time I checked, not a single person involved had paid any sort of penalty for it.
And neither will the goons in Maryland.

I don't see that as positive, for it was the Iraqis which made it impossible to retain those douchebags.
Obviously I didn't research it enough, but still positive, any way I look at it. As regards the new admin reaction to it, well, dunno, guess they had to [shrug]. Guess I like the silver lining/glass half-full approach...
A nrn sorta question...ever met any of those types? I may have been a non-military hard ass as a kid; those guys scared me, and that was years ago (not Blackwater, the type).
