An email from President Donald Trump’s White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles ordering staff to stop leaking to the press was leaked to the press on Friday.
In the directive, written in late March and obtained by Politico’s West Wing Playbook, Wiles warned that “no staff member within the Executive Office of the President is permitted to speak with members of the news media without the explicit approval of the White House Communications Office.”
J. Edgar Boozer's also trying to crack down on leaks.
Maybe if they were better at their jobs, nobody'd care.

When ethical "flexibility" is a requirement for getting hired in this administration one might expect some problems with staff behaviors. Plus pissing off the nonpolitical staffers would also be a contributing factor to leaks.
I don't know. All the weekend faux warrior screeching harpy crotch-shots and tattooed too tight suits on teevee remind me more of a b-grade 50's movie star whose greatest claim to fame were advertising Chesterfield cigarettes and playing second fiddle to an ape than who for most of his career was a pretty good guy that got overwhelmed in the end

With my first presidential ballot in 1972 I voted for Nixon because he pushed that George McGovern would strip our defense system bare. As I found out more recently, having more time to read, is that McGovern was a B24 pilot that completed all his missions including bombing Ploiesti. Nixon lied a lot.
But Nixon did give us the EPA which the current administration is working on in making useless like so many other things for our health and well being.
Reagan started the ball rolling downhill with his high increases of the National Deficit and Debt. And was a bigoted dog whistler.
The current administration has taken all the different faults of prior administrations and combined them into one big ball that it would take a Godzilla sized dung beetle to push around
The problem with Kash both suing for defamation and investigating leaks is that it's not a leak unless it's true.
