Little disconcerting to see .45 ACP listed as a poor performer. It starts to make me wonder if I am missing the tone and assumptions of the writer.

Back in the day, when all it had was FMJ bullets and people weren't really doing much handloading for it, the .45 ACP was outclassed by the hot .357 and .44 magnum rounds.
