TBogg has a great suggestion to make a donation to Planned Parenthood. What you should do is click the tab that says "honorary giving". That allows you to specify who should receive notification of a honorary gift being given in their name.
And this is who you should name:
Karen HandelThe Komen Foundation could have chosen not to jump into this fight. But they have and they may have found that they have now drawn a big target on themselves. Planned Parenthood has probably scored over a half-million in donations since the news broke.
Senior VP of Fail
c/o Susan G. Komen Foundation
P.O. Box 650309
Dallas, TX 75265-0309
And a shitload of people won't give a dime to Komen for the foreseeable future. Tough shit, assholes. You chose to play politics. We will see what that gets you.
Update: The Komeni
They have also been whining about how unfair it is for people to complain and not give them money because they chose to jump in on one side of a hot-button fight. Again, tough shit. If you pick a side in a war, you have no cause to complain when the folks on the other side commence shooting at you.

The Komanies burst on the scene a few years back and since then I've been saying who? WTF are they doing when there were at least two others here actively doing walks and other education efforts.
No they pull this crap. From a practical point of view we need women getting exams be they basic physicals or breast exams and mamograms. That's the first line for fighting breast disease not this political falderal
Supporting Planned parenthood is a good thing. The Komeni will fragment and damage the effort to eradicate a disease.
Eck!
Komen Foundation will not see a dime from me.
What an inspired term: "guano faucet"!!
I boosted the signal...thank you for the address information!
These "Komenis" (love the term Eck! since it reminds one of the great, late Iranian feminist, the Ayatollah Khomeini as well as his similarly-named successor) have with this utterly cynical, Rethuglican move gone a long way to undermining the breast cancer community's solidarity. My wife had breast cancer, now in remission but even if she hadn't I would regard this disgusting move to throw PP under the bus when they are one of the few places offering poor women health services as reprehensible. So I sent PP a contribuution in "honor" of Handel.
In a *bigger* followup, SGK also cut off support for stem cell research, one of the most promising possibilities for actually curing cancer rather than just cutting it out via one way or another. So apparently the only breast cancer research they're going to support going forward is going to be pray-the-cancer-away research, which I'm sure will work just as well as pray-the-gay-away has worked...
