Former Waco Attorney Adam Hoffman was sentenced to 60 days in county jail for his sexual abuse of a minor over the course of several years.
Initially charged with Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, Attorney General Ken Paxton offered a plea deal to Hoffman lowering a felony and life in prison to two class A misdemeanors and 30 days in county jail. Hoffman pleaded guilty to indecent assault and displaying harmful material to a minor but was not granted his initial plea deal. Visiting Judge Roy Sparkman denied the 30 days and doubled the sentence to 60 days.
You know, don't you, that almost anyone else would have been sent away for years and then graduate from prison to the sexual offender registry, for life.
But because this clown is rich, white and connected to influential Texas politicians, he gets a slap on the wrist.

Sexual abuse is just fine if you have the right qualifications. Money, political party, connections, money to give to a political party and establish connections. Having an Indicted attorney general with no moral compass is a plus.
Being mentioned in the Epstein files thousands of times is okay for some and yet if a Democratic Senator has a picture revealed of him pretending to honk-honk a posed sleeping passenger on a plane while he was a comedian, the pitchforks come out and his own party pushes him out for the sake of propriety.
Republicans have two standards, low and double.
