He seems to be a classical wealthy conservative, one that still believes in county work farms, poorhouses and putting the elderly on ice floes.

Some states, like Arkansas and Georgia, have tried work requirements for Medicaid recipients which increased administrative costs due to tracking and compliance without improved health care outcomes. Aw-shaw, what's a little black lung anyway; just shake it off.
