Russian authorities in Ukraine’s occupied city of Donetsk are tossing the bodies of their dead soldiers in a secret dump “by the thousands” and charging their loved ones money to find them.
That’s according to a new audio recording released by Ukraine’s Security Service on Tuesday, which is purportedly an intercepted telephone conversation between two Russians discussing how one of their missing friends was finally found.
This is a Twitter thread about Ukrainians attacking Russian tanks deep inside their occupied territory.
Video of an apparent Ukrainian attack on a Russian tank on 6 May is getting much attention for the turret's attempt to go to the Moon. It should be getting a lot more attention, though, for where it happened and what this means for Russia. A short 🧵. /1 pic.twitter.com/93yZXO2E37

One interesting thing is that the Ukrainians have been converting hand-thrown antitank grenades into RKG-1600 antitank bombs that are dropped from commercial drones.

I'm disappointed that you didn't include the video of a drone dropping a grenade through a sunroof. Best precision bombing I've ever seen.
I didn't see one. Link, if you will?
Remember when IEDs were a bad thing!?
Sunroof on a tank strikes me like screened windows on a submarine ...
NATO troops know about defusing IEDs. Knowing how to defuse them is a small step away from knowing how to build them. I would expect that knowledge to have been passed along to the Ukrainians.
Having said that, the RKG-1600 apparently is their idea.
CM, I have trouble linking anything to your site. And yes, I watched the how-to video you posted, it didn't help me. I'm old.
If you go on Youtube and search "grenade through sunroof" you'll find it.The story is a drone drops a grenade on a group of soldiers, they get a civilian car for evac. The drone drops another grenade, and the car backs up at exactly the wrong moment, and the grenade goes through sunroof and explodes inside the car. Hilarity ensues.
You can post the naked link without trying to make it clickable.
OK, here's a link.

Not sure saying “post the naked link” is ever a good choice of words on the net…having said that, I found this:

That's some impressive kludging.
The Germans used to say "The T-34 tips its hat to the 88." In other words, when hit with an 88, the ammo in the tank's turret would explode, blowing it into the air. Looks like modern Russian tanks are still tipping their hats to Ukrainian anti-tank rounds.
