Caturday

"Thanks for the canned food. I want my treats, now. Hop to it!"

This is the litter that I use:

It's normally $9 a container. The local grocery store had them on sale for $4 on clearance. There were nine containers on the shelf.

I bought all of them. I don't know if they're no longer going to carry it, but I'm not looking forward to the fun of changing over a cat's litter. Chip is a pretty easy-going cat and so far doesn't seem to be finicky about anything, but one never knows.

135lbs of cat litter will last a good while.

My partner ('s cats) uses the clumping fragrance free Arm & Hammer stuff, 20 pounds $8.

Second thumbs up on the A&H, fragrance free, clumping. Normally get the 40 lbers when Target offers a sake at either $12.99 or buy 2 (at $14.99) and get a $5 gift card. The one downside is that this little is a wee bit dusty.

We used to wholesale Sani Cat litter with diatomaceous earth at the warehouse I managed in the 2000's, and it was kind of a pain in the ass to deal with because the bags were paper, so the bottom rows on the pallet would tear and leak a lot.
My boss, however, saw that as a feature not a bug, and he kept a garbage can full of the loose litter from the torn bags that we used to soak up spills. It was the best stuff ever for that purpose.
