Roger Stone, the flamboyant political adviser who has been connected to President Donald Trump for years, is defending his contacts with "Guccifer 2.0"-- the online persona who claims responsibility for hacking the Democratic National Committee -- as an innocuous "brief exchange" of a few direct messages that he says amount to nothing.Right. Guccifer 2.0 appears to be a sock-puppet for Russian intelligence. Those "brief encounters" were apparently enough for Stone to be told in advance that
the CIA and NSA are in the Executive branch. If there was any evidence that President Obama ordered a wiretap, it could be released on President* Trump's command. There's no ned for an investigation, it could all be done by his command to release everything.
But there's been no evidence. Dolt 45's not released anything. Which suggests that if there was, indeed, a wiretap, it was a FISA wiretap and to release that would require releasing the justification for the wiretap and that might be damaging to Cheetolini.
That would wreck Putin's investment. It would also make it much harder for Putin to get what he wants from the U.S. for years to come. Trump will ruin everything for Putin. And Trump knows how Putin deals with underlings who disappoint him.
