Grifters Gotta Grift; PAC Edition

A long article about how the various Tea Party PACs served mainly to profit those who ran them.

Even the Wounded Warrior Project isn't that corrupt.

I always wondered who these "Tea Party" talking heads were. Between the grifters and the grass roots types intimidated into silence by the IRS, that took care of that.

It is a very "Late Roman Republic" feel these days. George W. Bush as Scipio Africanus? Honorable but deeply flawed, and followed by the scum of the earth.

There's even a two-wheel edition: http://idlehandsdept.blogspot.com/2016/08/gotta-grift-div-sturgis-motorcycle.html

Five years later, let me just say that George W. Bush is no Scipio Africanus.
