Cool, looks like a twin engine Dassault Mirage.
Early in the program, Germany had objections to the name "Typhoon", since it recalled unpleasant WWII memories. After being offered "Spitfire II", they accepted the name "Typhoon"
The Germans lobbied for Stuka.
Ironically, Dassault 'left' the competition, but it definitely resembles one of their design. Interesting to watch the shooter/trailer op they were running on the 'target'.
