The Trumpists on the Supreme Court are considering whether to gut American libel laws.
New York Times v. Sullivan was a 9-0 decision that stopped Southern racists from using libel lawsuits to cover their evil doings. Even since then, the far-right has been fulminating against it, because a free press shining the light of day on their shenanigans is hateful to them.
So of course, now that the Trump camp of the GOP has a majority on the Court, they may seize the opportunity to eviscerate the Sullivan deicison, stare decisis be damned.

And I just took it off.
I thought that warning was some Google anti-gun thing. Like gun Jesus Ian not being able to mention firearms modifications on YouTube. My blog's a cheap hobby and I keep it vague and anodyne. This is Murica, where anyone can sue anyone at any time for any reason. Even to have to defend yourself is to lose. And like you, I don't sell merch, beg with a tip jar, patreon, collect or sell data, pimp out it on FB or monitize it at all.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. Some volks need the dough I guess. Or want it. Or beg for it. Just boring and off-putting to me. I don't mind some light self-pimping, after all, we are not communists. But if I wanted commercials or beg-athons I have teevee.
