Sen. Tuberville (Gutless-AL) has no regrets about putting loyalty to Trump ahead of the nation whose Constitution he had just taken an oath to protect.
Frankly, I am not surprised that a politician from Alabama would do anything else other than fall in behind a nakedly-racist white supremacist party leader. Tuberville may be trying to chart a not-fully MAGA course, but the die was cast when he cast his vote to support the Insurrection.
But sedition to the United States is an old Southern tradition, isn't it?

enjoy the suck you probably voted for.
I shall. Beats the hell out of a wannabee dictator with ADHD and a massive inferiority complex.
Yep, Southern treason was overlooked and forgiven because the north was also racist. White northern voters felt more in common with white southerners than the supposedly freed black people once the union was saved. So the south was never reconstructed, with thin loyalty to the country and a 'stab-in-the-back' attitude.
What? I missed the whole context. I'm not good with current events. I have been watching television for 50 years. My favorite soap opera is "Fresno " starring Carole Burnett.
I had no idea that a murderous gang of thugs would ever try to take over the country. Even my town! I didn't know that they would worship a Golden Calf Zombie King! And force us to worship their God!
I was not expecting this! I am disappointed. Probably i should have known better.
