What Assholes Voted Against H.R. 3237?

The bill was to provide emergency founding for the Capitol Hill cops and to fund the settlement of Afghani interpreters and their families in the U.S.

The bill passed 98-0 in the Senate.

In the House, eleven congressmen voted against it:

Bowman                 Democratic     New York
Bush                       Democratic     Missouri
Good (VA)              Republican     Virginia
Massie                    Republican     Kentucky
McClintock            Republican     California
Norman                  Republican     South Carolina
Ocasio-Cortez        Democratic     New York
Omar                      Democratic     Minnesota
Pressley                  Democratic     Massachusetts
Roy                         Republican     Texas
Tlaib                       Democratic     Michigan

I don't know what their varying beefs were. But Crimus, even the three QAnon nutjobs voted for the bill, and if anyone would have been expected to have opposed a bill to bring Muslims into the country, one might expect them to be among the naysayers.

perhaps your perception of why they vote the way they do is incorrect.

Perhaps defunding the cops that barely protected them is a shot across the bow.

Tell us about the latest QAnon theory about why they voted that way, B. I’m expecting it to be a real doozy, so disappointing us isn’t an option this time around.

According to statements from Omar, her vote against was primarily about defunding the police. I don't imagine she would have major objections to Muslims coming to this country/

DA, in light of what I posted yesterday about the conduct I expect, no, demand from commenters: Yellow card.

Yeah, that's my awful, awful Republican congressman Tom McClintock there on the list.
I supported the weak-tea Democrat who ran against him last year, but the partisan breakdown of this area is 71-29 in favor of the goddamn Republicans so we lost.
This time.
They flew the first of the Afghan translators out of there yesterday, and I'm glad they approved the money to get the rest of them, but they need to come up with a plan to get them to Kabul first, as the Taliban has already started killing the ones who try to go through their checkpoints.

DA: I have a feeling that you pay more attention to QAnon than I ever have....

Ms Misfit: thank you for enforcing your rules evenly.

B, you are unexcelled in your original research.

DA, knock that shit off. Next offense will result in deletion.
