Decisions on Sights

The Model 27 that I recently bought has a red front ramp insert. Come to find out, that means that it would be fairly easy to install these night sights:

They're as low as $73-ish. Or I could get the front sight alone for $40-ish.

Decisions....

I'd only do the front sight. Keep it original-ish

Do both. Original is nice, but the sight picture from both is better, IMHO. Plus, you're a shooter, not a collector, is the impression I have.

I agree with CP. (Oddly enough!)

Keep the original sights in an envelope so you can put 'em back if and when it should ever matter.
