Donald Trump has hinted at the assassination of Hillary Clinton by supporters of gun rights. That orange-haired lunatic isn't dog-whistling to the crazies, he's blowing a fucking steam-whistle.
The Republican nominee was speaking at a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, about the next president’s power to appoint supreme court justices. “If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” he said, adding: “Although the second amendment people – maybe there is, I don’t know.”
Those those who read this blog and support him: How far does Trump have to go before you repudiate him? Does he have to go to a cross-burning? Wear a brown uniform and start giving his speeches in German?
For Chrissake, what the hell do you guys think will happen to our gun rights if some moron heeds the Donald's call and assassinates her? In 1968, we damn near lost the right to own handguns (notwithstanding the fact that President Kennedy and Dr. King were killed with bolt-action rifles).
Trump is playing a very dangerous game. Those of you who have supported him so far had best think about whether or not your loyalty to your party is more important to you than your country.
(Yep)
Update: Trump blames the press for reporting what he said.

It's either Donald or Hillary,,,,,,,nothing to decided there.
TRUMP 2016
I am beginning to think Trump might be more destructive if he loses than if he wins.
When the talking heads say that Trump is a Democrat it annoys me so that my ears ring. Trump is neither Republican nor Democrat; he is a shallow, unprincipled, self-worshipping con man.
Just my opinion - as always.

So, just how does the Secret Service get to treat this one? A person they are protecting, suggesting to his supporters that they harm his opponent. It's well beyond insane, the whole Republican Party is basically "Waiting for Godot". Honestly, even Monty Phthon would have rejected a script like this as too crazy.
He's channeling Sharron Angle: "In fact Thomas Jefferson said it's good for a country to have a revolution every 20 years. I hope that's not where we're going, but, you know, if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies and saying, 'My goodness, what can we do to turn this country around?' I'll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out."
This is the sort of not engaging the brain before running the mouth that would do untold damage coming from a POTUS. What's worse, he probably thinks he's done a good thing for gun rights supporters. He has done no such thing, no matter how you look at it.

I have a feeling that if DDT is elected, the first thing he will do is take away everyone's guns.
I'm imagining the scene among T's secret service detail. The agents guarding Hillary are their co-workers, maybe their friends, and the people most likely to die if some wacko takes Trump up on his suggestion.
(Jill - Trump's a Republican now. The party has so declared.)
Kinda a stretch, really to go from what he said to what you said.
You are inferring a lot there.
Almost a lie, really.
B, Not a stretch. Not even much of a reach, when you pay attention to what he said.
This is the quote as reported by one of Rupert Murdoch's newspapers:
“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment. And, by the way, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is — I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what: That will be a horrible day.”
That wasn't rhetorical. That was calling for somebody to shoot her.
But hey, the Trumpistas want to say "it's a joke" and blame the media for reporting what Trump said.
