Trump's Surrogates are as Dumb as He Is.

Donald Trump’s new campaign manager once insisted that rape could be eradicated if women were “as strong as men.”

Kellyanne Conway was discussing the roles of women in the military on a 2013 episode of PBS’ “To the Contrary,” a roundtable discussion show featuring an all-women panel, when she made the baffling, victim-blaming declaration.

“If we were physiologically — not mentally, emotionally, professionally — equal to men, if we were physiologically as strong as men, rape would not exist,” she said. “You would be able to defend yourself and fight him off.”
Right. And where there are all-male environments, such as in prisons, rape just doesn't happen.

Oh, wait.

If not dumber.

It's as if all of them were issued ten statements about life that they've been clinging to ever since, without revision, reconsideration, or new input.

But I thought it was UN-PC to admit that women are less physically strong as men.....we are all equal, remember?

But if women aren't as strong as men.....then why do we need to let them in the Rangers and be Firefighters and such?

(Yeah, we gotta change the rules, but hey....)

Political correctness. But reality beats PC every time, don't it?

I know a few female black belts who still have to be concerned about rape, because, hello!, weapons! Rape is not about strength, it's about power.
When Trump hired Conway, everyone on TV gushed about how smart and professional she was, but I'm just not seeing it. Granted, she doesn't have much to work with, but as skill sets go, the ability to cheerfully and condescendingly lie right into the camera doesn't seem to set her apart from most political operatives these days.
Maybe this one has something to do with the pathology displayed by her former boss, Todd "legitimate rape" Akin...
