A judge dismissed a lawsuit from a civilian engineer in the Military Sealift Command after it was determined that her report of being raped in her own bed aboard a Navy transport ship was within her duties and must be treated as a worker’s comp claim.
So, for the Navy, being raped is a work hazard. The Navy's Coverup Integrity Service also helped sweep the matter under the rug. The ship's captain, a civilian mariner, was "disciplined" by having to surrender his mariner's ticket.
I wish that I could say that I was shocked and surprised. But I'm not. It's never about justice with those clowns, it's all about protecting the institution.
In other news, several states are doing what they can to ensure that their children grow up illiterate and stupid.

The Master At Arms just pointed and rolled his eyes when I asked the location of our shipboard NCIS agent. The agent knew all about my issue and who did what/when. He refused to tell me anything. I think being stationed afloat was not to his liking. He was useless.
