A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

May you be written in the Book of Life for a good year.
Eck!
Thank you.
Checked the post from years ago. Reason Number 4 is a big flag - and it's frightening that so many Jews are emulating Dro Kanayan.
After Sultan Abdul Hamid II killed hundreds of thousands of Armenians, after the Young Turks established a democracy and let Armenians vote and enter the army and become members of parliament, and then decided to conduct the Armenian Genocide anyway, and after Western powers sat back in the 1920s and let a resurgent Turkey kill any Armenians that were left, and after Romania wanted to get rid of its Armenian population and Stalin decided to wipe out the Armenian Apostolic Church, Dro Kanayan had figured out something.
It went like this: "The only power that earns respect in this world comes from the barrel of a gun. We gave up, finally, on nonviolence. That only works when the powers that be have a conscience, which, as was shown in virtually all of continental Europe in from the 1890s to the 1930s, they did not. So we did what you have done for millennia: Make our ancestral homeland our own country and, if the people who are already there do not want us there, fight them for it."
It was necessary for an independent Armenia to exist because "because no other place on the motherfucking planet would have [them]. You did not see the US, for example, offer to throw open its borders and take all of the people in the Displaced Persons camps after the war, did you?"
Dro learned another lesson: "No land that is not controlled by Armenians will ever be wholly accepting of Armenians. We may live there a decade, a century, a millenia, but sooner or later, you will try to wipe us out or push us out because you regard us as "filthy Armenians.""
During the 1940s, Dro found someone who would help establish this necessary Armenian state, and drive the Soviet occupiers out of Armenia.
To prevent "never again" from happening again, he joined up with Hitler and formed the Armenian Legion. "Better someone else than us, right?"
(End of Part 1)
(Part 2)
The existence of an independent Armenia hasn't done much to protect Armenians. Just last year, Azerbaijan expelled all the ethnic Armenians from Artsakh - it was again. Israel is among the nations that refuse to recognize the Armenian Genocide, and even though the Armenians of Jerusalem are trying to live their lives, Israel is trying to destroy the Armenian Quarter anyway.
Meanwhile, ethnic Armenians are doing pretty well in the US.

I see Israel applying Dro Kanayan's logic. It was hateful when used against Jews, so, according to Hillel's one-footed summary of the Torah, it's hateful when Zionists use it.
I see an IDF that wouldn't accept the existence of David ben Avraham, that went so far as to kill him, because he had the wrong ancestors. I get the feeling that present-day Israel wouldn't let a modern-day Ruth move in.
When Israel sides with Elon Musk, who has done more than anyone else alive to advance the cause of antisemitism, and with the likes of Donald Trump and Viktor Orban, I get very scared that its government would happily sacrifice the entire diaspora to the idol of "our land."
And, for the record, I hope you are inscribed in the Book of Life, too.
Sam, I'm invoking Rule 3. If you want to go on lengthy comments about things, you need to start your own blog. I'll be happy to link to it.
