I saw one paint on a SPS-40. The radar made something like four sweeps and it was gone.

Worked one of these a couple of times back in the days at ZHU. Above FL600 and on a ESE to WNW track

100th FMS, the next hangar over from us at Kadena. Saw a few of these, and they and the lead tanker got priority over EVERYBODY on the field. Tanker would lead by about 10 minutes, Habu would fast taxi, turn and go.
