But this is the choice: Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.
Anyone who thinks that there is no difference between the two should rethink that stance. It doesn't really matter which issue is at hand. There is a difference between the two. To those who are unhappy with both and are going to sit on their hands, I have three messages for you:
- If you can vote and you don't vote, then you should shut the fuck up about what happens starting at noon, EST on January 20th, 2025. You could have had your say, you chose to not bother, so not only should you shut the fuck up, go away until after you vote in the mid-term election in 2026.
- Seek professional help.
- Consider emigrating. You evidently don't care enough about your freedom or this country to exercise your right to vote, so go to another country where elections don't matter or are organized farces. May I suggest Russia or Hungary, for starters.
But for some, never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity is a long tradition.

Well said.
I already voted for the candidate who didn't yearn for the "beachfront property" of Gaza.

Having voted for all stripes of candidates since I was elgible to vote, I can say unequivocally that it's all Democrats or non-partisan this year. Looks like a MAGA already went off the rails while trying to vote: https://apnews.com/article/2024-election-worker-assaulted-texas-voting-8b601acad1bb0d3cdb780d8e6dc2cb69
Already posted a $30k bail. Probably more incidents like this in the wings.
I agree with you completely on this. If you don't like either of the 2 main party nominees, vote 3rd party candidate.
Another option is to abstain from voting on the presidential candidate, but vote for the rest of the things being voted on, especially the Senate and the House. No matter which party you prefer, again knowing that there are many races where neither candidate is acceptable to some, at least remember that the Congress likely will be just as important as who becomes president, and you can! make a difference.
Voting is the one area of our lives where we at least have a tiny bit of choice for the direction of the country. While I admit it is not a huge part of the solution, it is something, and it's at least something that you can do to try and make your voice heard.
