Rush Limbaugh, the talk radio host who ripped into liberals and laid waste to political correctness with a gleeful malice that made him one of the most powerful voices in politics, influencing the rightward push of American conservatism and the rise of Donald Trump, died Wednesday. He was 70.
A remembrance:
Limbaugh used to read the names of gay people who had died of AIDS on air playing air horns and celebratory whistles. https://t.co/18XWG6j3QM

Limbaugh trafficked in hatred and bigotry for decades. It may not be proper to exult in the death of any man, but his golden microphone is now silent, and as far as I'm concerned, well, I'll settle for paraphrasing Bette Davis: "You should never say bad things about the dead, only good. Rush Limbaugh is dead. Good.”
Or, if you will, Clarence Darrow: "I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure."

Best one I saw:
Confederate flags are flying at half staff today.

The rest of us set fires at the base of those flagpoles.
Let us have a minute of silence, and tune to his radio station for it.
Eck!
Confederate flags are flying at half staff ... limp dicks.
As always, do not look at the storyteller. Look only at the audience.
II hope that Sandra Fluke is having a good day today.

I am glad the bastard is dead. I hope he was in great pain at the end. Though I doubt it. He was always good at obtaining painkillers.
Many people are saying the presnident should take the microphone now....many, many people.....
