The Apocalypse Has Begun

The Chicago Cubs ended the regular season- winning 103 games with a .640 average.

I probably need to research this assertion, but: The team with the best record of the year seems to go down like a sack of bricks during the first round of playoffs.

(Not that I wouldn't mind a Cubs World Championship, just that it will gladden George Will, ugh.)
