This news increases my gratitude to a first sergeant who found me a place in a NATO exercise in Europe. Had gone to his office to volunteer for a second tour in Vietnam and the good man sent me to Europe instead. Thanks Top Hamilton.

It was during the Reagan administration that I began to view Richard Nixon as a national resource and would have voted for Nixon early and often had he been able to run again.
