One of the best sounding whistles, too. And for the most part, he doesn't lean on it incessantly like Steve Lee and Ross Roland often do.

The outbound trip of the WMRR is uphill. The engineer's probably wise enough to want to conserve steam for doing the hard work, not for showing off.
