Because There is No Labor Like Slave Labor

A number of states are trying to save money by using inmate labor to do jobs that state workers or private industry have been doing. And they learn skills, such as how to do farm labor, so they can take jobs from the illegal immigrants.

What the hell, why not use the guys convicted of white collar crimes to teach grade school. We have an entire political party which thinks that teachers are parasites and that learning anything beyond the "three Rs" is a waste of time and resources.

I'm surprised that since there are private prisons, nobody has thought of putting all prisoners on treadmills so they can sell electricity.

Or a private prison becoming a source of human organs. From some source or other. You could try to investigate that, of course, but the judge in this town takes a firm stance with outsiders...

With the odd exception, I don't think rehabilitations works. I go by my family....

Nothing new here, the South has been doing this for centuries.
