A visit to the Pennsylvania House floor by two former police officers who helped protect the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot of 2021 drew boos and walkouts by some Republican legislators [last] week.
Witnesses said the appearance Wednesday by former U.S. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn and his ex-boss, former Sgt. Aquilino Gonell, triggered a distinctly negative response from some Republicans, with someone even shouting that they were cowards.
House Speaker Joanna McClinton, D-Philadelphia, who welcomed Gonell and Dunn to the floor, called the GOP reaction to the former officers disrespectful. She said in a statement that many Republican members walked off the floor, turned their backs and booed.
Those cops were doing their job on 1/6/21 to defend the Capitol against a pack of unhinged Trump-cultists who were trying to overturn the government to keep their guy in. Among the people they were defending (and they probably now wish they hadn't) were treasonous little fucks like fleeing Josh Hawley.
They tried to hold the line, they were assaulted and beaten by supposedly pro-police Trump supporters and now they get booed for their service by piece-of-shit MAGA Republicans who are not fit to lie on the ground and let those brave cops wipe their feet on their balls.

I can think of a lot of things to call those dirtbags...
However I'd be satisfied if they would show some civility.
Lacking that...
Bless their little hearts.
Eck!
Except neither was beaten, just called bad names.
They had no injuries to corroborate their testimony about being beaten. Nor any video besides the crowd pushing against them. Odd, innit?
But thy are all claiming 'Trauma" 'cause they got scared when they got yelled at. And they were all allowed to retire early.
But don't let the truth interrupt your narrative.
Truth? Seriously, B? You wouldn't know the truth of what happened on January 6th if it were engraved on a cricket bat and beaten with it.
I'm impressed that the embers of the "normal tourist visit" narrative keep getting re kindled." not hospitalised so no injury seems like a reach. PTSD is officially an actual thing so please STFU and STFD.
I agree with B. According to the few minutes of Tuckie's video of January 6, it was just a couple of peaceful tourists being given a tour by the Capitol Police.. Plus I seen a film clip of soldiers in WW11 having a nice thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the trimmings. So, all that noise about the war being so bad is just exaggeration. Every one knows that there can't be any injuries to a person unless parts of the body are missing or there are patched up holes in the body. And if one doesn't have those then one cannot have been injured. PTSD is just an excuse for malingerers. (Sarcasm)
Well, Dan, those on the Right who think that Biden runs a crime family are engaging in projection. It's their guy who has been running a borderline criminal enterprise for decades and who was finally caught and convicted.
Nobody who had any sense did business with him. That's been known for decades.
Propaganda, Start with a lie, bigger is better. Keep it going
and modify it as time progresses. Keep repeating the lie.
J6 was not tourists.
Stop pissing on my leg and telling me its raining.
Eck!
Eck, that's trickle down democracy you feel.
B, it wasn’t an insurrection, it was just a three hour tour that got a little rowdy. Right? There was no violence of any sort, except for the tourists being a bit loud and patriotic.
Stewart, cant see that one...must be my lying eyes.
