Grew up in the UK in the ‘70’s, so that looked very familiar, Always loved the EE Lightning, an absolute brute looking plane that was holder of time to climb records and such. Massive body reminds of the P-47, but it had a range like an early Spitfire due to the fuselage being absolutely full and fuel going into the wings with the undercarriage. The engines were stacked to reduce drag.
