Eight assholes kidnapped, raped, tortured and murdered a twenty-year old woman. Allegedly.
Assuming that they are found guilty and sentenced to be put to death, no doubt that there will be people decrying that and maintaining that their deaths would be cruel and unusual. There is no way that their deaths would be any crueler than the one that they inflicted on their victim.
It cannot happen soon enough.
ETA: Also, if the victim had been a pretty white blonde girl, this case would've been all over the national news for two weeks. But that she wasn't and it wasn't tells you all you need to know about the latent hypocrisy and racism in the news business.
An Explosion Of Entitlement

Honestly, I’d rather just sentence them to life without parole in solitary confinement and forget about their asses…spend no more time or money other than on the cells and guards. Costs too much money and takes too much time to bother trying the impose the death penalty, let them rot alone.
Immurement with a slot on the bottom for food trays. When the food stops disappearing, wait a month and then break it open and remove the body.
Learned a new word today, immurement. And just got the squiggly red line under the word when I typed it in. Looking up the meaning my first thought was Poe's story "The Cask of Amontillado" which I read on high school.
I have one word for them if convited... Nitrogen.
Eck!
No immurement. I vote for immolation...live streamed. That would be a genuine deterrent.
